Melbourne by-election Campaign
**Demo Alert**
Please attend our demonstration on Tuesday July 10 at 11.45am-12.45pm outside
state Labor HQ, 360 King St, West Melbourne. Media will be present.
The Coalition for the Protection of Racehorses is teaming up with Oscar’s Law and the Coalition Against Duck Shooting in an exciting new campaign aimed at getting our first Greens member, Cathy Oke into the lower house of Victorian parliament.
The plan is to tackle the Melbourne by-election on July 21. This election is so close, it’s 50/50 between Labor and the Greens, while the Liberals haven’t even entered a candidate! We have a very unique opportunity to influence the outcome, but we need your help.
We’ll be running a full-page advertisement in the Melbourne Leader, but we can’t do it without you, which is why we’re calling on our supporters en masse to help change the political landscape for animals.
We need everyone to chip in something, anything – whether it be $5, $10, $50 or $100. I want you to ask yourself, “What is it worth to me having our first Greens member in the lower house of Victorian parliament?”
For me, I see how important it is which is why I’m going to start first by contributing $500 personally towards the campaign. I don’t expect everybody to match it, but instead donate what you think it’s worth. This is our opportunity to have representation for animal welfare issues in the lower house for the first time in Victoria’s history!
Please click the button below to donate, and help fund our full-page advertisement in the Melbourne Leader.
Thanks for your support.
